On May 16, the Université Catholique de Lille officially signed a new partnership with France Volontaires, aimed at expanding student access to international volunteering opportunities for exchange and solidarity (VIES).
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Marc Delaunay, Secretary General of France Volontaires, and Lucie Lombard, Head of the North-East office, who presented the existing programs and the types of missions available to students.
This partnership, the result of several months of collaboration between France Volontaires, the Vice-Rector for International Development, and the International Relations Office, is fully aligned with the University’s strategy to:
👉 give deeper meaning to international mobility,
👉 encourage student engagement,
👉 and shape globally-minded citizens.
Through this collaboration, the Université Catholique de Lille aims to foster an international culture rooted in public interest, by facilitating access to high-quality volunteering experiences that serve communities and cultures around the world.
