Prerequisite
German 1-3.
Goal
The aim of the course is to apply the competencies acquired during the first semester and practice them with an in-depth study of the News and to introduce students to economic German.

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- Understand TV shows,
- Comment on these shows,
- Present by himself/herself a subject from the News,
- Take notes during a presentation,
- Present a company,
- Master grammatical points studied using self-learning tools.
Presentation
- Understand, write and talk about the most important political, economic, cultural and sporting events of 2008.
- Introduction to economic German with texts and oral documents.
- Presentation of a German company.

Evaluation
The assessment is continuous : active participation and presence, an oral presentation, one or several tests during the semester, a grammar MCQ at the end of an individual piece of work based on chosen chapters of grammar and a final exam.
