Institut Catholique de Lille and Its 13 Member Schools Awarded the DD&RS Label

The Institut Catholique de Lille has been awarded the DD&RS (Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility) label, a national distinction recognizing higher education and research institutions for their commitment to ecological transition and social responsibility. The 13 member schools that make up the Institut now join other institutions within the University that had already received the label, including EDHEC and IÉSEG.

What is the DD&RS Label?

The DD&RS label is a national benchmark awarded to institutions that integrate sustainable development and social responsibility into their strategy, academic programmes, research activities, and campus life. Receiving this label acknowledges the efforts already undertaken and encourages institutions to continue their transformation.

By the end of 2025, 25% of the 306 institutions belonging to France Universités (FU) and the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) had been awarded the label.

This distinction recognizes the University’s commitment through its initiatives and leadership engagement, while also encouraging the continuation of its sustainability and social responsibility efforts.
