Présentation

Prerequisite
Curiosity, open-mindedness and the ability to remain detached. A minimal follow-up is required but it has to be both active and critical of the economic and social news. The student must be able to link the news to ideas from other lessons from the first year (business exploration, economy...) and to his/her potential professional experiences.
Goal
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- Define and analyse broadly the various organisational modes in the workplace, working relationships and the major issues in the workplace
- Carry out the observation, the description and a synthetic analysis of a real-life situation in the workplace (preparation for the "working class" internship at the end of the first year, for the written report and for the academic defence)
Presentation
The value "work". The main organisational modes and the major schools of thought. The needs in the workplace. Working relationships. Work and motivation. Work and constraints. Work and inequality (ies). Methodology for the "working class" internship and the writing of the report.
