Goal
Understand the international, regional and local policies and legal framework of IPRs;
Be able to identify the peculiarities of EU IP law, compared to the US IP law;
Know which signs can be protected as trademarks, which inventions can be covered by patents and which creations can be protected by copyright.
Know what are the other layers of protection existing within the IP legal framework
Think strategically about the form of protection to be used for a sign, creation or an invention and the related management.
Apply legal rules to concrete scenarios autonomously and in team
