Présentation

Prerequisite

Interests in current events, the world of business, willing to work alone outside of class (7 speaking, self study in grammar)

Goal

Communicate on the world of work and on current events.

Presentation

- Different sectors of the economy
- The legal status of companies
- The private sector
- The public sector
- Communication about business (present a company via a power point, describe an organisation chart)


- A portion of the course (20 minutes) is set apart to discuss current events/news (economy, politics, culture, etc.)

Modalités

Forms of instruction

As much as possible, allow everyone to speak through debates (3/4 students), role plays, or presentations

Assess communication (especially oral communication) and work at home

Promote communication that combines fluidity and conviction (body language, eye contact, dyanamism, intonation...)

Work on listening comprehension and acquire specific vocabularly through videos about the world of business
