Prerequisite

Management accounting : understand and interpret company accounts (profit and loss, balance sheet)
Management strategic : information for decision making, strategic analysis with the internal factors and external environments

Goal

When you have completed this course (12 hours), you should be able to :

  • Understanding investing in general through what investment means, what you are already have and the sort of return you can expect, the idea of risk and reward and how you may face up to finance
  • Explaining and undertake an investment appraisal using four techniques : payback, accounting rate of return, net present value and iternal rate of return
  • Building a project investment through cases study as Bitcoin vs Ether, Amazon vs Walmark, Google vs Microsoft, Facebook vs Twitter
