Goal
At the end of the course the student should be able to :
Understand the complexity and multifaceted aspects of leadership
Reflect on her/his own current and ideal leadership approach
Appraise the impact of biases and emotions on decision-making
Design a plan to become a more effective leader through decision-making
Presentation
Leadership and decision-making can be seen as two sides of the same coin. Effective leaders demonstrate strong decision-making capability and vice-versa, sound decision-making is one of the indispensable skills characterizing good leaders.
This course reviews influential leadership models and focuses on how to improve individual decision-making capability for effective leadership.
