Prerequisite
The ability to read, write, speak, and understand information provided in English.
The ability to use personal productivity and communication tools such as a web browser.
The ability to apply knowledge to new situations.
Goal
At the end of course, the student should be able to:

- Recall basic programming concepts
- Select the appropriate data types for variables
- Construct scripts using basic control structures (sequence, selection, and iteration)
- Use basic data structures (arrays)
- Implement more advanced programming with methods
- Recall basic HTTP concepts
- Implement APIs for web-scraping
Presentation
This course introduces students to the basics of programming in python and the application of these skills to the use of APIs for web-scraping.
