Présentation

Prerequisite
A Level: know how to make a presentation, talk about him/herself, understand the general context of a text or a press article and be able to participate in a debate.
Goal
The course helps students to express themselves in every day situations. The first semester will be dedicated to tourism and social and political life using both the press and the television.

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- read a press article (easy) in German,
- summarise and understand information broadcasted during the television news,
- carry out research work on a German, Austrian or Swiss city and present it during the course.
Presentation
I- Tourism: an economic branch in Germany
a) Your own region in France: description.
b) The cost of travelling for Germans abroad.
c) The industry of tourism.
d) Field work: conception of a booklet on a German, Austrian or Swiss city in order to promote this city.
II- Grammatical review
III- News: analysis of television news
IV- Study of a movie: oral presentation
