Objectives of the workshop:
Realization in volume, from a block of earth (with grog)
Sculpture in clay fired at 900°, raw (or with patina).
Skills developed in this workshop:
Learn the technical fundamentals of modelling, and its constraints (increase in volume, balance, give matter, consistency, and functionality to its creation) acquire the basics of 3D anatomy. Develop creativity, observation skills, and share with the group.
Contents / Teaching methods:
2-hour workshop
Each subject, lasting 1 to 3 sessions, is built around a personal project, in relation to the fundamentals to be acquired (anatomy, proportion, and respect for volume balances) and in relation to the themes chosen by the University (2018-2019: Nirvana and childhood)
