Prerequisite
This course is a course of implementation, all previous courses in telecommunications and are pre-requisites:
Communications numériques (Master 1)
Techniques avancées pour les TC I et II (Master 2)
Goal
This course aims to illustrate the application of fundamental concepts and advanced telecommunications. Two main application areas are identified:
- Mobile radio communications
- Satelite Positioning

This module serves to illustrate the concepts of conventional telecommunications today as the digital modulation, channel coding, channel equalization, modulation multi-carrier, the techniques of multiple access ...
Two areas are chosen as an illustration:
First mobile radio communications. Booming since the 90s and evolving field of wireless communications affects both the mobile phone that transfers data between mobile terminals ...
Will therefore be detailed in the current communication standards such as GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, EDGE, WiMax, ... They will be presented in different context such as transport.
The second area addressed concerns the positioning satellite. It will also serve to illustrate the concepts Telecommunciations discussed in the previous modules. In addition to the American GPS system, the features of the European system Galileo will also be detailed.
Finally an original approach will focus on co-design for mobile services through a short project.
