The aim of this course is to improve students’ understanding of English contract language.
Course objectives
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
• understand the structure of English language contracts
• compare and contrast different concepts and terminology used in English contract
drafting
• distinguish between ‘legalese’ and plain English
• recognise how to draft contract provisions clearly and without ambiguity
