B807 – Regulations and Laws
– Understand what research and innovation means and what are the different concepts, ideas, relevance, and aims of Responsible Research and Innovation
– Understand the legal frame of RRI, and the EU major regulations and trends in RRI including : Research integrity, open science, citizen science and ethical considerations in data and AI in health.
– Build on acquired knowledge to develop critical thinking on research methodology
Understand the key organizational elements of the European Research Area and their implication in Research and Innovation policy
Module 1 : Introduction to RRI (Session 1)
Module 2 : Open Science, and Open Access (Session 2)
Module 3 : Open FAIR Data and Data Management (Session 3) + assessment (session 4 – Case Study + open questions).
Module 4 : Data, AI and Ethics (sessions 5 and 6).
Additional content will be provided by the faculty on generative AI and ethics (personal work).
