The MSc in Big Data Analytics for Business is a unique program that trains data scientists in the field of (online) marketing, finance, and operations.
Participants are exposed to the leading-edge fundamentals in decision-making by extracting knowledge from Big Data, including social media data, customer web traffic data, Bloomberg's financial data, and inventory process logs. Participants will learn how to solve managerial problems by critically asking questions in the spirit of "What do we know ? " (data driven) rather than "What do we think ?" (gut feeling).
Graduates will have acquired the skills to discover key information by receiving company data, taking into consideration the relevant business context. They will become decision makers with strong fundamentals in business and analytics. They can work as data scientists, digital/online marketers, web analysts, market researchers, database marketers, customer insights managers, financial analysts, credit scoring analysts, and fraud detection analysts or in other related positions.
MSc in Big Data Analytics for Business
Open to candidates with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Statistics or similar from a recognized university and with a command of English (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 85 IBT, TOEIC 800). Other educational backgrounds will be considered case by case.
Native English speakers or students with English taught Bachelor degree are exempted.
Admission to MSc in Accounting is based on students’ online application available at https://application.ieseg.fr/ and the examination of the required documents. Admission is offered on an ongoing basis to qualified students.
