Convention universitaire pour le climat
 

La Convention Universitaire pour le Climat est un programme « apprenant-agissant », aligné sur l’Accord de Paris et la Convention pour la Transition des Établissements du Supérieur.

Signataire de l'Accord de Grenoble et engagée avec la Métropole Européenne de Lille pour le zéro carbone en 2050, l'Université Catholique de Lille a proposé cette formation pour apprendre et agir autour des enjeux climatiques.

La Convention Universitaire pour le Climat c’est :

  • Agir pour le Climat
  • Se former à la transition écologique et climatique et s’en approprier les enjeux
  • Participer à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre des solutions

145 étudiants, membres du personnel de l'Université et habitants du quartier Vauban Esquermes ont participé à 7 ateliers pendant trois mois à un programme inédit de formation et d’ateliers d’intelligence collective ayant pour objectif de réduire l’impact carbone et de reconsidérer les modes de vie de chacun.

Les participants ont pris connaissance des enjeux climatiques et énergétiques mondiaux, du bilan carbone de l’Université et de ses différents postes d’émission et ont imaginé des solutions pour l’avenir. Celles-ci ont été présentées à un jury d’experts et décideurs lors d’une séance conclusive à l’hôtel de région le 6 décembre dernier.

    Little Miracle of Lille: Candlelight Mass

    The Université Catholique de Lille was recently featured in an article from National Catholic Register, highlighting its candlelight Mass.

    In 2016, the chaplaincy here at Université Catholique de Lille launched this initiative, that has since then enjoyed an unexpected and exponential success. The event continues to bring more and more students together.

    Every Tuesday evening at 10pm, between 800 and 900 students gather in the University Chapel for this Mass.

    "Meeting point Museum" - a night for international students

    On February 21st, the Palais des Beaux-Arts welcomes all french and international students for an evening of cultural exchanges and artistic wonders.

    In collaboration with the Erasmus Student Network, the Palais des Beaux-Arts prepared a tailor-made program: guided visits of the museum, artistic workshops, concerts and more.

    Entry is free for all students.

    Fédépicerie: a solidarity grocery store for all students

    The Fédépicerie is a solidarity grocery store created by the Fédération des Etudiants de l'Université Catholique de Lille (Fédé) accessible to all students in need, including international students, in Lille!

    They offer necessities (pasta, rice, canned goods, cleaning, and hygiene products) at 90% off, as well as free feminine hygiene products.

    All students in Lille can apply through a form available on their Instagram profile.
