Le 6ème opus d’OPEN LAB - le mag, le magazine de la recherche des établissements de l’Université Catholique de Lille, vient de paraître. Plusieurs collègues de notre ensemble facultaire sont mis à l’honneur :
 
- Pierre Giorgini (ETHICS - EA 7446) fait l’éloge des futurs souhaitables à travers l’annonce de la biennale ECOPOSS 2022 ;
- Sylvie Humbert, Professeure à la Faculté de Droit (C3RD), présente ses travaux en histoire du droit et de la justice, et notamment son rapport sur le Rwanda et le génocide des Tutsi ;
- Tristan Pascart, Professeur à la Faculté de Médecine & Maïeutique, praticien hospitalier spécialiste en rhumatologie, expose ses travaux récompensés sur la goutte ;
- Grégory Aiguier, Maître de conférences à la Faculté de Médecine & Maïeutique et Directeur adjoint du Centre d’Ethique Médicale (ETHICS - EA 7446), nous parle du pouvoir d’agir des soignants et des patients, et des questions de recherche dans le champ de l’apprentissage en santé que cette notion soulève ;
- La chaire de recherche Science, Technoscience et Foi à l’heure de l’écologie intégrale est mise en avant par ses co-porteurs : Paulo Rodrigues, Doyen de la Faculté de Théologie, et Thierry Magnin, Président-Recteur délégué aux humanités ;
- le Directeur de l’ISTC, Piero Turchi, et le Responsable de la recherche, Mehdi Ghassemi, développent la stratégie de recherche de l’école, notamment l’alliance conclue avec l’ICL pour intégrer ETHICS - EA 7446 ;
- Cédric Routier et Agnès D’Arripe, respectivement Directeur et membre de l’équipe HADéPaS (ETHICS - EA 7446), témoignent de l’innovation pédagogique par la recherche, avec le projet DESHMA.

  • University Climate Convention

    UNIVERSITY CLIMATE CONVENTION

    The University Climate Convention is an “active learning” program aligned with the Paris Agreement and the Convention for the Transition of Higher Education Institutions. As a signatory to the Grenoble Agreement and, with the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL), committed to the goal of zero carbon by 2050, the Université Catholique de Lille offers training and education regarding climate issues

    Joining the University Climate Convention means:

    Acting on behalf of the climate Learning about the ecological and climate transition and take ownership of the issues Participating in the development and implementation of solutions

    For three months, 100 students and 50 staff members from across the University and its varied establishments are taking part in an unprecedented program of training and collective workshops aimed at reducing carbon impact and personal lifestyle reconsiderations. articipants learn about global climate and energy issues, examine the University's carbon footprint and its various emission sources, and imagine solutions for the future. These will be presented to a jury of experts and decision-makers at the concluding session to be held on 6 December 2022 at the regional council office. Program dates: 13 and 20 October, 10, 17 and 24 November, 1 and 6 December, from 3 pm to 6 pm.

    An International Erasmus+ Training Week as part of the ECOPOSS Biennale

    From 24 to 28 October 2022, the Université Catholique de Lille organized an International Erasmus+ Training Week.

    We had the pleasure of welcoming 30 colleagues from partners Universities from more than 17 different nationalities.

    The week was devoted to our various universities' commitment to sustainable development - a theme that finds a particular echo in this year of mobilization #ClimateItIsTime.

    The week included many activities such as conferences, a campus visit on the theme of sustainable development, and a "Climate Fresk", as well as times of sharing and other interactive workshops.

    Webinar & health information for international students - 4th November 2022 at 2pm

    If you are an international student in France you may already know that you’re entitled to be refunded for your medical expenses!

    In order to get the coverage of your medical expenses in France, you must register for the French health system also called « Assurance Maladie ». The registration is free. You should necessarily apply on the dedicated website etudiant-etranger.ameli.fr As soon as you receive your social security number a part of your medical expenses can be refunded if you reach some conditions.

    To help you along this process, Assurance Maladie is organizing an international Webinar on Friday the 4th of November at 2 PM (Paris Time, GMT+2).

    This webinar will allow you to get all the relevant information regarding the application to be covered for your medical expenses in France and the medical pathway.

For 35 years and many more to come, our commitment  to Erasmus+ encourages students and employees' intercultural experience around european values.   Celebrate the Erasmus Days on the 13th & 14th october by participating to events organized by the University's schools and institutions, online and on campus !

    This year's Erasmus Days also mark Erasmus+ 35th anniversary.
