The first level in Systematic Theology leading to a Bachelor’s degree gives basic teaching in theology and Biblical exegesis. Theology is said to be systematic in that it brings together not only takes an analytical approach but aims for coherence, legibility. It deals with Biblical exegesis, Church history and the history of theology, canon law, dogmatic and fundamental theology, and moral theology.
Pursuit of a Masters in Systematic Theology, with additional study of philosophy gives the possibility of obtaining the Canonical Baccalaureate.
This degree is specific to the Lille Faculty of Theology and is designed according to the European system which allows for recognition of the course and the possibility of credit transfers to another study program.
The degree comprises 12 modules of 96 credit hours, each module being made up of 4 courses totaling 24 credit hours. Each validated course is worth 3 or 6 credits. The course can be followed full-time or part-time, credits may be saved.
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
