Présentation
The aim is to produce real assistants who can take charge of the management of a practice, a hospital department or a dispensing pharmacy. The health professionals must be able to rely on a helpful colleague who has administrational and interpersonal qualities and skills. This applies obviously to multimedia and organisational abilities as well as relationships. This is the reason why we are offering a personalised course, to at the same time perfect what you already know and stimulate progress in areas which are different in each person.
The course runs for 9 months and has about 12 weeks of internships to be done in 2 different structures (medical practice, hospital or clinic, social services centre or pharmacy).
Between internships, classes, in small groups, are divided into 3 categories :
- Culture Medical / Health
- professional training
- communication
A medical secretary ensures the good functioning of the offices in various structures : medical practices, hospitals, retirement homes, social services centres, mother and child refuges, crèches in larger companies.

Programme
At ICM, we offer training and professionalizing combining short courses and internships. It takes place over nine months and includes 12 weeks of training to perform in two different structures (medical office, hospital or clinic, social center ...). In addition to the training periods, the courses offered (small group) will be divided into three categories:
Admission
Recruitment is from high school diploma level.
Application forms are available from January.
Selection is done with transcripts, general knowledge tests and an interview.
