Foreign Language, Literature and Civilisations: are the pillars that support the field of study that, together, are referred as "LCE", and whose principal language of focus is English. This educational training achieves a better understanding of the contemporary world and an extendend knowledge of the societies that surround us.
The objectives of this curriculum are to provide a general cultivation open to foreign affairs and to teach a specific base of knowledge in english allowing the most optimal conditions for success on the entrance exams and in the career of teaching and training and/or to answer the criteria for admission in a Master's program that follows from that field or perhaps a different field.

Primary and high school teachers, university professors, research professors, and as a French language teacher abroad, and in the domain of public office.
A career in international communication for companies.
Students of the LCE will easily find employment as teachers within France, in particular because of the needs related to the demand for newer hires but also abroad where the quality of their training will enable them to integrate within other educational systems of the Anglo-Saxon world.
Having acquired a Master Degree in their specific field, students of the LCE will be sought-after in the field of communication, publishing, translation, radio and television and many global companies.

Etudiants internationaux candidats à l'un ou l'autre des parcours: validation du diplôme obtenu dans le secondaire (sur dossier, voir modalités et calendrier selon le pays d'origine)
Licence 2: un semestre de L1 acquis (l'autre devra être acquis prioritairement en L2) - validation d'études en France (ex: classes préparatoires) ou à l'étranger (sur dossier)
Licence 3: trois semestres sur quatre obtenus (l'autre devra être acquis prioritairement en L3) - validation d'études (ex: classes préparatoires) ou à l'étranger (sur dossier)
- En licence 1 pour les élèves de Terminale : candidature sur www.parcroursup.fr
- En Licence 2 et 3 : candidature sur www.espaceadmission.univ-catholille.fr
Les candidatures se déroulent de mi-janvier à juillet.
Si vous devez faire une équivalence pour entrer en Licence 2 ou Licence 3, candidatez avant le 30 avril.
