Présentation
This Master’s degree with a strong research element culminates in the students writing a dissertation. It permits access to doctoral studies in a wide range of countries. It also prepares students for the French teacher training exams.
Students will acquire a high level of proficiency in the English language and both English and American cultures, becoming a decisive asset in the eyes of any employer who values international development and intercultural openness.
Students will also have the opportunity to participate in international conferences in their research area.
-Proficiency in the English language to the C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFRL
-Solid writing skills in English and French
-Analysis of texts and documents, linking them to a cultural, literary, political context.
-Use of digital and computer skills to analyze texts and documents, and do research (databases, bibliographies…)
-Translation of literary and cultural texts
-Presentation of research work to an informed audience
Doctorat
Most graduates from this degree course either continue to do a PhD or go into teaching either in France or abroad. European students have the opportunity to take the French national teaching qualifications during their second year.
