Language, literature and civilization - these are the three main themes of this course in English and American Studies.
This course allows students, as well as improving their oral and written expression in English, to gain a better perspective of the contemporary world and an in-depth knowledge of the countries where English is the main language.
It aims to give students an international world view with a specific emphasis on understanding foreign cultures and various aspects of the English language, preparing them for wide variety of Masters degrees in the international domain including English Teaching qualifications in France.
As well as English, students may choose electives from thirteen different languages taught by the Clarife language school: German, Arabic, Bosnian-Croatian-Montenegrin-Serbian, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi and Turkish.
From the first semester onwards, students build their own study plan, choosing electives relevant to their future career like Business English, Introduction to Journalism, Didactics or Marketing.
