- To be interested in culture (cinema, concerts, theater, exhibitions, cultural events ...).

-Awakening and developping the taste of art history
-Providing the necessary foundations for artistic and cultural discoveries
throughout life
-Gradually learning the method of analysis of works of art
(10 works of art on the program to know imperatively for the final exam)
-Understanding why such context (historical, political, economic, social,
religious-) produced such art forms, between breakage and continuity
This course trains the following professional skills:
- Understanding, analyzing and reading about your environment (general culture) including
international.
- Knowing the trades, learning the technologies and techniques of
communication.
- Developping your personality by insisting on values of integrity, openness,
tolerance and respect.
- Capitalizing on your knowledge to use them in a professional context.

1. Prehistory, Antiquity (Egypt, Greece, Rome)
2. Medieval art (Romanesque art, Gothic art, 6th-15th century)
3. The Renaissance (Italian, Flemish Primitives, 15th-16th centuries)
4. Vanities in art, from yesterday to today
5. Modern and contemporary art (20th century: Cubism, Fauvism, Surrealism-)
6. American art (architecture, painting, late 19th-20th century: F. Lloyd Wright, Pop Art,
