A general understanding of Supply Chain Management and International Business.
Goal
***Objectives of the Seminar-Course – Provide the participants with:

• A general understanding and review of 21st Century Supply Chain Management in comparison to pre-21st Century Supply Chain Management – what are the major trends that should drive our strategies

• A forum for the identification of Supply Chain Relationships and the roles of relationships in the scope of business – benefits and opportunities. We will use video and paper case studies to engage the students.

• We will gain an understanding of the nuances and values of Global Supply Chain Management Relationships

• The seminar-course will be a venue to discuss Innovative and Cutting Edge Global Supply Chain and Relationship strategies
Presentation
Module 1 – Brief Overview and Discussion of Supply Chain and Relationship Management ; Module 2 – Foundation for Global Supply Chain Relationships ;
Module 3 – Analysis and Trends; Partnership Model (lecture, case and discussion);
Day 4 – One Belt – One Road (OBOR) – Student Team Case Study Presentations

*15% - Class Participation including class discussion - Professor informs students how to earn (asking questions, making points, participating in discussionsor takeaway points (using electronic devices on anything other than coursework)

*35% - One Belt One Road PPT and In-Class Team Presentation – Team Grade (Rubric will be provided graded on required contents, depth of understanding exhibited in oral report and presentation slides and presenter notes; Lead the discussion including asking relevant questions; creativity, format, grammar, pictures and graphics;one presentation fell

*50% - Final Exam – Individual Case (PPT format - in) – Due 2 weeks after course conclusion - similar to group but no oral presentation.
