"MIGRANTS" winner of the BAFTA Student Film Award

26 July 2021

Each year, projects from the Pôle 3D school are noticed and rewarded during several events (Game Made in France, Ping Awards and other festivals).

MIGRANTS, an animated 3D film, was created as a final year project by Zoé Devise, Lucas Lermytte, Hugo Caby, Aubin Kubiak et Antoine Dupriez, 5th year students at Pôle 3D.

This engaged short film highlights current issues : immigration and global warming, through a touching animation featuring a mother bear and her cub searching for a new habitat.

The film has been nominated in more than 100 festivals around the world (North America, Asia, South America) and has received more than 25 awards.

It has recently received one of the most prestigious awards for students in the animation world : the BAFTA Student Film Award. (BAFTA Los Angeles)

These rewards make the movie eligible for the Oscars 2021!

Webinar: "The climate deserves better than 12%!"

For several years the financial industry has been multiplying initiatives to measure companies' climate performance and engagement. Scarcely a day goes by without a new fund or index being launched on the basis of this climate data, with the primary declared objective of the investments' positive impact on the transition towards a low-carbon economy.

However, a study conducted as part of the EDHEC-Scientific Beta 'Advanced ESG and Climate Investing' research chair shows that the reality of traditional climate investing strategies does not live up to the promises and the communication from their promoters.

To shed light on this question, EDHEC is organising a virtual presentation of the portfolio greenwashing study on September 21.

Two sessions of this webinar will be held on September 21 at different times.
