EDHEC CLIMATE FINANCE CONFERENCE

Threats and Opportunities for Asset Owners and Asset Managers
Organised by EDHEC-Risk the EDHEC Climate Finance Conference will take place on December 17, 2019 at the Palais Brongniart in Paris and will discuss two main themes of great interest to the institutional investment and fund manager communities: Investing in Climate Risk and Measuring and Managing Climate Risk. 
Leading experts will be featured at the conference, including, Lionel Martellini (Director of EDHEC-Risk Institute), Gianfranco Gianfrate (Professor of Finance, EDHEC Business School), Riccardo Rebonato (Professor of Finance, EDHEC Business School), and professional experts from the industry.
This conference will be preceded on December 16 by an academic gathering which is organized by EDHEC Business School and co-sponsored by the Journal of Corporate Finance, which also will publish a Special Issue of a subset of the papers presented at the conference.

    Little Miracle of Lille: Candlelight Mass

    The Université Catholique de Lille was recently featured in an article from National Catholic Register, highlighting its candlelight Mass.

    In 2016, the chaplaincy here at Université Catholique de Lille launched this initiative, that has since then enjoyed an unexpected and exponential success. The event continues to bring more and more students together.

    Every Tuesday evening at 10pm, between 800 and 900 students gather in the University Chapel for this Mass.

    "Meeting point Museum" - a night for international students

    On February 21st, the Palais des Beaux-Arts welcomes all french and international students for an evening of cultural exchanges and artistic wonders.

    In collaboration with the Erasmus Student Network, the Palais des Beaux-Arts prepared a tailor-made program: guided visits of the museum, artistic workshops, concerts and more.

    Entry is free for all students.

    Fédépicerie: a solidarity grocery store for all students

    The Fédépicerie is a solidarity grocery store created by the Fédération des Etudiants de l'Université Catholique de Lille (Fédé) accessible to all students in need, including international students, in Lille!

    They offer necessities (pasta, rice, canned goods, cleaning, and hygiene products) at 90% off, as well as free feminine hygiene products.

    All students in Lille can apply through a form available on their Instagram profile.
