Objectifs

The aim of the course is to introduce and analyse the historical development, structure, main sources, principles and norms of the contemporary Russian Legal System.

At the end of this course, the student should be able to:


1) present the system based approaches to Russian Legal System;


2) find the applicable set of legal sources, principles and norms;


3) advise individuals in application of Russian Laws.

The exam will be an open-book exam and the students are allowed to use the books, legal materials, all handouts, as well as their own notes taken during class and during preparation at home
