OBJECTIVE

To discover the European vision of landscape management. To analyze the process leading from polluted soil management, to green-building management and biodiversity management. To compare and build on the student’s experience.

CONTENT

Landscape and biodiversity management (challenges, landscape protection and positive operations), soil pollution from diagnosis to remediation. Reconversion of polluted sites into green-build areas. The environmental purchasing policy implementation. Overview of renewable energies, water consumption, environmental footprint, health and well-being. Green building management, waste management and other environmental activities. Focus on a real local study case of reconversion of a soil metal polluted area. Study visits to green-built areas.

EDUCATIONAL METHODS

practice analysis, share of experiences, problem solving, interactive class, debates. Personal work.
A class of maximum 25 students for a more interactive teaching.

TEACHING LANGUAGE English
PRE-REQUISITE understand and speak academic level English. A scientific background (BSc1 as a minimum) is also required.
