An introduction to the economic situation in the European Union (strengths, challenges, results)

CONTENT

Introduction to the economic systems of the European Union. Panorama of the European Union, history and major treaties. Current issues of the European Union. The EU's economic integration process, its trade and agricultural policies. The Euro area management by the European Central Bank. Fieldtrips to complement the students' understanding about the European Union: a visit to memorial sites of World War 1 in Lille surroundings and a conference at the European Parliament in Brussels
