Academic details

 Quality assurance
To guarantee the high level of teaching, classes are limited to 25 students per option.

Diverse teaching styles are used in the different courses but much emphasis is placed on student participation. This makes the class session more lively and gives all students the opportunity to express themselves and to share ideas with their classmates and the teacher.

Course materials are supplied.

 Credit Transfer
Universite Catholique de Lille has adopted the European Credit Transfer System and the European Summer Program awards ECTS credits to the students. For partner university students, credits are automatically transferred. The Study Abroad Office at the partner university can help students determine the number of credits they will receive. For students coming from other universities, ECTS credits can be transferred. It is then the student’s responsibility to check in advance with their home university how many credits can be transferred.

 Attendance
As credits can be awarded, attendance is compulsory and therefore, registers are taken at the start of each session. More

 Grading
At the end of the course, students are given a grade. This grade is based on different aspects of the course:

- participation in class

- group work and homework when relevant

- final exam
