Lille Catholic University, founded in 1875, is France’s largest private university with 22.500 full-time students and 5.000 staff members. Lille Catholic University is well known for its academic quality and  its international dimension.

As a comprehensive university, it is home to 30 different faculties and schools: traditional faculties, graduate engineering and business schools, vocational training colleges.


It offers 140 distinct degrees in 4 major fields of study:
• Law, Economics and Management
• Sciences and Engineering
• Humanities
• Health Sciences and Social Work

Though the language of instruction is French, many programs are taught in English, especially in the field of business and in some engineering colleges.

The “European  Summer Program” in June and July also offers varied elective courses taught in English.

Lille Catholic University’s campus is located in the historic heart of Lille, a vibrant and dynamic university city strategically placed within a radius of six major European capitals, including Paris, London and Brussels. It is famous for its warm atmosphere and the variety of its cultural and sporting activities.
