Health Interreg Santé is an Interreg III A programme part-funded by the FEDER of the European Union.

Its aims are to facilitate:

Cross channel mobility of health professionals between Kent and Nord-Pas de Calais,
Exchange of best practice,
Enhancement of professional competence, 
                                                 Promotion of networks between 
                                                    individuals and institutions.

This will be achieved through various activities involving healthcare participants from the partner organisations. The project is funded by the EU through the Interreg IIIa initiative with match funding from the partner organisations.
Participation in this programme is open to staff and students of partner organisations. More than 600 people have already taken part in this project.
The initial project commenced in April 2003 for two years and a further project commenced in 2005.
