Contenu du cours

Inter-cultural management is a multidisciplinary approach to identifying, understanding, and managing problems characterizing interactions among individuals, between individuals and society/organizations, and between individuals/organizations and their communities. The ability to understand, communicate, and interact appropriately in such an (international) environment is, today more than ever, of vital importance. In this course, we examine different theories on cross-cultural communication and management. The aim is to explore cultural factors and their impact on global managerial practices, in particular in relation to CSR and business ethics. Furthermore, this course complements other management and organization disciplines in developing cross-cultural management skills and knowledge essential for graduates entering managerial careers in increasingly globalized economies around the world.
