Pré requis

Undergradute courses in introduction to financial accounting and strategic management are required. This course builds on an understanding of basic financial reporting, corporate annual reports, and the principle theories of strategic management in order to bridge the practice of performance measurement and strategic management.

Objectifs du cours

At the end of the course, the student should be able to :
Explain the "business case" for CSR and sustainability reporting
Identify the strategic linkages between what non-financial performance metrics get measured/reported and managed
Describe the strategic importance of effective stakeholder engagement
Read and interpret a sustainability report prepared in accordance with GRI (G4) guidelines
