Objectifs du cours

At the end of the course, the student should be able to :
Understand from a general perspective what is marketing. As an introductory course to marketing, we start with clarifying what marketing really means and what kind of activities marketing involves. In the rest of the course, students will focus on five specific areas of marketing and learn the basic concepts, theories, and analysis tools in each area. Each session will also use real cases as examples in order to link the concepts to the marketing practices.

Contenu du cours

The objectives of this course are to:
1. Introduce students to the concepts, analyses, and activities that comprise marketing management,
2. Help students sharpen their analytical skills and show them how to use the analytical skils to assess and solve marketing problems,
3. Provide opportunities to refine students’ oral and written communication skills, and
4. Provide a foundation for marketing course in the second year
