The objective of the course is to put students in the condition to:
• Define and understand the concept of strategy
• Identify and evaluate the key strategic choices available to organizations
• Demonstrate and raise awareness of the main issues involved in managing strategically
• Understand and apply relevant theoretical concepts and frameworks of strategic management to organizations

Contenu du cours

This course is offered to make sure every master student at IESEG has been exposed to the core concepts of strategy. This is particularly important for those students that intend to choose electives in strategy.
The whole program and its contents (initially designed and created by Anna Canato and which are progressively updated) are available on www.ieseg-online.com which will require students to watch, listen and read contents and complete exercises. The platform allows communication with the professors when needed. For any technical issue with the platform students should contact Maxime Taisne (m.taisne@ieseg.fr), in charge of the technical aspects of Ieseg-online.
The course content will be available from the beginning and students will be autonomous in the way they handle the material. Yet, the course will be animated so that the students remember they need to commit to their study of the content. Also, all the participants to the course shall post any related topic on twitter using the hashtag #stratieseg. Moreover, a course forum will be available so that the students can interact with the professors and ask questions or request for illustrations.
