Pré requis

This course is entirely taught in English, participants need to have a basic understanding of corporate dynamics (it is recommended that students already experienced corporate life prior to attending this course).
Students will work as teams and will have to provide timely feedback to their peers and their own work.
The students must be willing to actively participate to activities offered and to interact through tools provided to them. They will also be carrying out practical research on the internet, both individually and as a team.

Objectifs du cours

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
1. Understand innovative managerial approaches as well as efficiency principles, and how they help fostering innovation
2. Set themselves business/personal objectives and how to overachieve them through frameworks.
3. Apply learnings from case studies, use a variety of online tools for personal and professional use.
4. Market themselves by reaching out to any business contact, with or without a proper business introduction, in a compelling manner in order to maximize their reach.

Contenu du cours

1. “A different approach”: Introduction to Google’s management methods (3 hours)
2. Leverage tools and framework to overdeliver at work and in life (3 hours)
3. Effectively get your ideas across through cross channel communication (3 hours)
4. Understand corporate dynamics to become an asset to your organization (3 hours)
5. Delivering results (2 hours): Case study and student presentations.

Évaluation

Students will be required to apply the learning from the course by working on case studies that will be presented to the class. Fellow students will have to provide feedback on every case study, and will receive a group mark.
Participation will be assessed by the teacher throughout the entire duration of the course, based on individual and collective inputs in order to receive an individual mark.
