Objectifs du cours

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
Evaluate and assess the performance management systems
Assess the different tools used to promote and measure performance
Critically identify which tools are relevant to specific situations/ problems of poor performance
To understand the link between employee performance, team performance and organisational performance
To be able to provide recommendations in specific contexts.

This unit aims to provide students with a holistic understanding of employee performance management, the tools and techniques to implement them in the workplace. Students will become aware that strategic organisational priorities should be aligned with employee performance systems. Students will be able to assess which of these practices enhance organisational performance and should be able to empirically investigate the extent to which these practices are implemented in organisations, their significance and their actual contribution in increasing organisational performance.
