The student should possess basic knowledge of:
- The functioning and management of organizations;
- The functioning of people in organizations.

Objectifs du cours

At the end of the course, the student should be able to :
- Understand the significance and dangers of business plan writing;
- Appreciate the different purposes of and audiences for business plans;
- Define the essential components of effective business plans;
- Critically evaluate and improve real business plans.

Contenu du cours

The course introduces students to the principles and practices of adequate business planning. It covers all essential elements of business plan writing. Participants learn about industry analysis, market analysis, marketing plans, strategy, operations planning, company structures, business modeling, cash flow operations, and financial projections.

Évaluation

The instructor expects students to actively participate and behave responsibly in the course sessions. The student is assessed on the course based on four components: class participation (20%), in-class MCQs (20%), project (40%), and presentation (20%).
