Pré requis

1. Awareness of basic supply chain management an advantage, including total quality management and just in time
2. The participants should know some basic notions of manufacturing and service management
3. Participants should have some experience of implementing, or participating in improvement schemes.
4. An awareness of intercultural aspects of negation is an advantage

Objectifs du cours

This course will focuses on performance consulting using Interpersonal skills. The course promotes facilitating process development and improvement. Many advanced operations methods and philosophies are counter intuitive. This leads to the need to overcome resistance to change. This module draws on process consultation and supply chain engineering agent skills resources, and good implementation practice cases.
In this course, you will develop your skills to:
a) analyse supply chain structures, understand the opportunities and understanding use of conflict management agreements in a project management context
b) understand process consulting and key questions
c) recognise good supply chain practices
d) be aware of advanced collaborative improvement processes
e) prepared to avoided typical implementation errors and mistakes

Contenu du cours

12 hours The course topics will include APICs operating strategies, supplier selection, partnership sourcing, modes of transport, quality, cost, delivery, KPIs, kanban, benefits of JIT/Lean supply chains, things to look out for, rank order clustering, to/from analysis, flow line layout, process layout, cell layout, investment implications, single piece flow vs batches, impact of poor quality.
Managing improvement schemes, partnership versus traditional adversarial relationships, the role of improvement consultant, examples of applications
4 hours End to End (E2E) interactive supply chain game that demonstrates all aspects of taught theory, changes in leadership style, key problems to overcome, collaborative B2B work to implement advanced supply chain solutions
